Final Presentation

This is my first final project. This is a few images showing the thing I wanted to recreate and then the steps I took to finalize my Mongoose. I added textures to the tires and just added a lot more detail from before.

This is my second final project. At first I jus made a little hallway. Then I decided to add some items in the hallway. I decided to make it a lot darker and it ended up looking a lot better.

This is the title screen for my GDD101 class. The game is called My Little Genius and it is a 3D action adventure game. I decided to make a title screen without animations making it the best possible with the things I have learned. All of my postings were made on Photoshop.

Labyrinth upgrade

For my upgrade I fixed the excess of empty space by adding different elements like the dumpster the bottle, the lamp and the dog. It was not too difficult to make everything add up together. The biggest problem I must say was the dog it is the weakest of the new additions. I do not mind as it turned out quite nice anyway.

Edit:

Final edit a lot darker makes it look at lot more realistic. It adds a nice glow and it is a lot grimmer. I am very happy on  how this turned out.

Upgrade project #1

This is my first upgraded image. I used a lot of shadows and such to improve my old design. These are the images I used as reference to the line work and close textures. I am quite happy on how it turned out to appear. The original textures did not go as well on the tires and on everything else. I do feel a lot better about this.

Post Upgrade Research Phase

One of the projects I want fix is the idea for my title screen. I feel like I want to change it completely to make it more sinister and a lot creepier. I feel I can find a way to blend elements and or dripping blood the title screen would be a lot better. I hope that with the use of Maya I could use the paint effects to create some awesome effects.

The second thing I want to upgrade is my initial maze. The thing is that I want to upgrade this version of the maze. I want to keep it simple but at the same time use all the other elements we have learned to use in Maya. I feel like with everything I have learned to do I can definitely make a much better looking maze.

Last project I really want to accomplish is my line-work mongoose. As this came out pretty well except for the look of the tires. By improving all of this I feel like I can potentially make a really good looking mongoose which will truly satisfy any halo fan boys game art thirst. The use of the different tools offered by photoshop will help me form out better tires and a better looking mongoose in general.

3D Maze Rendering Final Phase

My new "Maze" is a lot simpler in difficulty but the rendering and shape of it is a lot harder. I made it more sewer type especially with the bricks and openings. I found it difficult to add water to give it a more authentic look. Other than that I feel that this is more for the feel I wanted. This is a lot better than my last version so I am quite happy with it.

Maze improvement upgrade Research phase

With these last pictures just show what I want to end up doing with my maze. I want it to be a realistic looking sewer. It would be best with a real HD look and pipes everywhere. I would really like for the halls to be cylindrical. I want it to be an eerie look kind of greenish tint. I would really like to feel sinister but linear. Something else that you can see is how the light has some really bright areas and then other areas are pretty dark. All my hallways look rectangular and not so redefined which I want to improve. I really want to have my walls to look 3D.
